- Unfold the unit and secure the sliding lock.
- Hook the J-hooks securely onto the bin lid strut.
- Use steady pressure to compact the contents evenly.
- Detach, fold and hang it neatly on the Buddy Bracket.

1. Unfold & lock
Remove WasteBuddy® from the bracket, unfold it and slide the locking mechanism down.
2. Attach
Hook the unit securely onto the support strut connecting the bin and lid.
3. Compact
Lower the head with a smooth, controlled action and repeat as required.
4. Fold & store
Detach the unit, fold the head and return it to the wall-mounted Buddy Bracket.

Does WasteBuddy® require assembly?
No. WasteBuddy® is supplied assembly-free and is ready to use after unpacking. The Buddy Bracket needs to be fixed to a suitable wall for storage.
When should I use it?
For best results, the instructions recommend compacting when the wheelie bin is around half full, then repeating as required.
How much extra capacity will it create?
WasteBuddy® can increase usable waste capacity by up to 50%, but results depend on the type, volume and compressibility of the contents.
Which bins do Buddy Bags and Clips fit?
They are designed to fit most standard 120 L, 180 L and 240 L wheelie bins.
Can Buddy Bags be used for recycling or garden waste?
No. The Buddy Bags instructions state that they are intended for general waste only.
How should WasteBuddy® be maintained?
Store it in a dry, sheltered location, wipe it down after use and occasionally apply a light lubricant to the moving parts and joints.
